Wild crafting is the practice of harvesting plants from their natural habitats, while taking care to leave enough of the mother plant(s) to ensure sustainability and to protect endangered species. Wild crafted herbs are naturally organic. Wild crafted means grown in the wild. They are not under the control of growers and processors therefore cannot be certified as organic. Per the Organic Food Production Act of 1990; a 3-year history of the harvested area must be recorded to ensure there was zero human interference with the wild growing crops.
